Outdoor wedding ceremony at the Marshes in Kanata

Jenn and Geoff’s wedding ceremony took place outdoors at the Marshes Golf Clubin Kanata. One of my favourite parts of the ceremony was the struggle Jenn had trying to put the wedding band on Geoff’s finger. She had great facial expressions and Geoff was really milking the whole situation. It was great times!

Spring 2011 Wedding Show

This weekends wedding show at Lansdowne Park was great! I met some amazing and fun people. I would like to especially thank a few specific couples for stopping by my booth and chatting with my assistant Kelly and myself. Thank you to Sheryne and Bruce, Marie-Eve and Christian, Laura and Sebastian, Erin and Trevor, Elyse and Matt, Tara and Jay. It was great to get to know everyone a little bit better and to learn what’s important to you when hiring your wedding photographer.

I also want to give a great big old THANK YOU to everyone who tried the photo-booth and for being creative with the props. If you haven’t received an email from me by Wednesday, please do contact me to receive the information on how to download your photos for free.

If you didn’t get a chance to try the photo-booth this time, you can do so at the September Wedding Palace Bridal Show at the Ottawa Convention Centre on September 10^th and 11^th, 2011.

Colleen and Ben’s photo shoot

Colleen and Ben are former wedding clients that got married in October of 2009. Last week we did a post-wedding evening winter shoot in downtown Ottawa during Winterlude. Colleen and Ben were both great. They endured the cold and looked great doing it. I had a blast working with them again and I’m very excited to share some of their photos with you.

Fuchsia Factory networking event

Tracey from Coordination Wedrose and I had a blast yesterday on our date at the Fuchsia Factory networking event. It was nice seeing everyone and meeting a lot of new people. Thank you to Lisa and Madeleine from Luxe Bridal Boutique for hosting the event at their beautiful and modern location. I also had a great time getting my handwriting analyzed by Gisele Savard-Lalonde and thanks to Anna La from Bella Blush for my stunning makeup makeover. So many people liked my dramatic eyes. I love it! Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful evening.

Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm Bridal Open House

The open house at Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm was a lot of fun and a great success. I met lots of adventurous, fun couples and family members who tried my new photo booth this past weekend. I’ve included a few of my favorite images here.

I also want to thank Earl and Joy for inviting me to take part in their open house and to all the staff who where so friendly and accommodating. If you need to hire a venue, I suggest you check them out.

Stanley’s Olde Maple Farm Open House

Courtney and Robyn’s ceremony took place at St-Mary’s Parish in Chesterville. For the formal portraits the couple chose Courtney’s aunt’s yard and gardens as a wonderful location for photos.

Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Holiday Inn Solarium in Sudbury, Ontario. After the ceremony we went to Bell Park for the formal portraits and had so many options for backgrounds and lighting. Such a great park for photography.

Their wedding took place at Bean Town Ranch in Alfred. The customer service from this venue is phenomenal. It rained throughout the day but the sun managed to come out for photos. Love it!!
